Very rarely; usually I just replace parts as they break, or become so old they can't do what I need them to any more. Probably been better than ten years since I replaced more than three quarters of it of at once, and even in THAT case, I kept the case and hard drives.

Oof you should be doing maintenance on it, opening it up and cleaning it, I prefer to use a can of pressurized air and blow off all the dust and then close it back up, it would save you having to buy a new one, along with anti viruses, and VPNs to keep your computer clean and secure.
I have bought two in the last 15 years.

when I touch the limitation that can't run a new game.
When i got the money and the old one breaks down. So about 8-10 years.
probably around 10 years. cause the advances in pc hardware aren't so crazy as they used to be. in the 80s/90s
I had my last one for 5 years. It needed a new keyboard so bought a new one last year.
When I need one. I do tend to upgrade my workstations in the office every few years because newer models are more efficient/quicker.
