Do you open the windows of your home everyday? If yes, for how long?

It depends on the weather. But we do open them during the day if it's nice outside. We get good cross ventilation through our big living room windows and side windows of the French doors in our dining room. We live on acreage in a rural area and our house is on the side of a hill. I the love fresh air.

We close them at night but leave them open in our bedroom if it's not too hot or cold. When it's too hot, we turn on our window AC unit.

My bedroom window is only closed on the hottest and coldest days of the year, when the HVAC is running. 300 days a year, I just use the window and the ceiling fan to keep the temperature nice.

And during the hot times, it's still usually open at night unless it's so hot that I have to keep the AC running all night.

Only when it's cool to temperate. Or my house is stuffy, or there's paint odor or some other odor that incense doesn't solve. My AC does a good job of circulating fresh air into the house.

When it's oppressingly hot and humid, opening windows lets in too much moisture.

Same. First thing I do when I wake up is open the windows of my house for one hour to promote ventilation. But because I live in a desert I can't leave them open all day long it gets really hot and dusty.

In the mornings or overnight on cooler days I crack the windows however it’s too hot to keep them open right now. 85. Fahrenheit currently.

Yes whole day during the day time because sunlight is important to enter the room but once it's get heated during the afternoon i close it

My bedroom window is always open, even during winter, I like sleeping with an open window. Other windows are usually open during spring and autum, otherwise mostly closed with the AC or heating.

I always keep my windows open at least a little as soon as it gets warm. In winter I always keep at least a small inch or two on the windows at either side of the house.

Not some days during the winter. But most of the time in my home office. With the equipment I have, it can get toasty at times. Shut them when I get off work.

They are open all the time. We have 2 Window dorrs 1 mesh and other is glass.

Glass stays open all the time, closed only when there's a storm or rain.
