Do men having hard time expressing their feelings because they have nothing but the aggressive feelings?

Not at all; men are conditioned not to express their feelings, so we generally don't.

Society expects men to be tough, stoic, & resolute. We're expected to be strong, and not show emotions. When a man expresses his feelings, he's considered weak, or effeminate. He's criticized for talking about his feelings.

Even without that, very few people ever express interest in how a man feels, because it's not thought of. Society expects women to be the emotional gender, and caters to their feelings. Not so, for men. Our feelings, and our mental health, is rarely considered a priority.

Many men, who have been in relationships, also know that opening up about our feelings, expressing them to our partners, can be used to attack us the next time we get into an argument with our significant other.

The one person we're supposed to confide in uses our words, and our emotions, as a weapon when she gets mad at us, so what's the point? It's safer to just not say anything at all.

No. Men struggle with this because, in general, we do not get much exercise doing so. But much more than that, people do not want to listen to or deal with men's emotions.

Even partners don't normally want to deal with it. They want the feeling of being confided in and trusted. They do not want to shoulder decades of built up trauma. And I do not blame them because who wants that? Expressing your feelings without a wanting audience is a thankless task.

So we know that us sharing isn't likely to lead to help. It is not attractive. So on.

Of course Sometimes sharing is rewarded and to the people who reward it - you're amazing. But those are the rare exceptions.
