This is about how life is not always about just trying to feel good or be happy. There's a deeper level of satisfaction that we can reach and that’s experienced when we find what fulfills us. It’s one thing to feel good or happy for a moment. It’s another to have a sense of fulfillment, this deep sense of satisfaction that can be felt in the soul, that you are living your life in a way that is deeply satisfying.

“Live your best life.”

Life is here for a moment and gone the next. Your life is like a vapor, a blossom, or I like to think, a firework. Life is brief, but it can still be beautiful. If your life were a firework to be seen in the night sky, make it so that when you look at your life, on your death bed, you can say that you lived a beautiful life.

“Be your own hero.”

Life can be harsh. And, there can be times when nobody is there for you (or you feel as if nobody is there for you). In times like that you may need to draw upon your own abilities to get yourself out of a situation. It’s good to have a healthy relationship with yourself. Because then you will be able to help yourself, lead yourself, and encourage yourself when there is nobody around to do it. There have been many times in my life where if I wanted to get out of a situation, it was up to me. By becoming the strongest version of yourself (mentally, emotionally, physically) you will be able to handle life’s worst storms.

I read it somewhere years ago and I still thing about it and try to live by it "Do no harm, take no shit" and the other one my therapist said to me, more so asked if I'd say shit i say to myself/about myself to my best friend so "treat yourself the same way you'd treat your best friend", meaning if you wouldn't say it to your best friend, don't say it to yourself.
