Mistakes are part of the learning process that humans go through since birth. Those are actually helpful to teach us valuable life lessons.

Now, if you keep doing them over and over again, then it means that you did not learn, nor do you want to learn anything from your mistakes. If you don't react, you will keep doing them to the end of your life. If you don't do anything about your mistakes, then it simply means that you are fine with them and that you have accepted them as being part of your life. You don't feel compelled to change anything since you keep doing them.

If you want to change anything, then you take a piece of paper and write down your mistakes point by point. Next to each mistake, you bring up a solution that would prevent you from doing those mistakes over again. There is no purpose to change everything at once but go step by step. Good luck.

Because making change is hard, and changing habits is hard and it’s very easy for us to fall back into familiar cycles and patterns no matter how toxic they might be for our lives. Progress is not linear, you’re still alive and still here and you can still learn from your mistakes, even if the path to a better life and a better you is hard to take sometimes
