my father had some ducks. I used to get duck eggs from him. They were a little bigger than chicken eggs but scrambled you could not tell the difference. Currently I have no livestock, not even a cat.
See i get mixed messages like they r similar taste but ducks r more richer so we’ll c. They r about 3 weeks
Yea i saw a vid on geese eggs omelets so interesting but their like $18 for one geese
I am strongly against raising them from chicks just to eat them. Like, me having babies and i will eat them when they r ripe
When I wa little my father brought home a bunch of baby chicks. We had a pen in the backyard and my brother and I treated them as pets. We even had manes for some of them. There must have been a dozen or so. We were about ten years old.
We went to school one day and when we came home the pen was empty. My father told us that he accidently left the gst open and they all ran away. They were really in the freezer downstairs.
Lmao was that traumatic? I dont understand why anyone would eat the babies when they hav barely any meat on them
Aw what made u realize they didn't run away
Wow ur father reeks of masculine energy.
Np, U r an interesting person

Before we came to the US. I grew up with lots of farms animals.
we had chickens, ducks, pigs, dogs, cats, I don’t think we had a cow. Can’t remember.
in college, I had a rabbit. Now I have two “pets”.
i used to catch frogs to feed my ducks.. that was one of my jobs.
My parents were not allowed to raise chickens or ducks in China because of the smell and the poop but they still raised them illegally and it was always removed by local law enforcement and I believe it’s also illegal here in Canada where we now live, we don’t live in an agricultural area, where it would have been legal.
None that’s for the mountains and small country towns to own cows and certain things like that. I used own pets and also racing greyhound dogs I would race them private owner I live in Florida.
Ah Florida man
Rabbits now. Had chickens pretty much all my life until I got married though.
I’m not an animal person but I live near a lot of beautiful horse ranches
livestock, sounds green 😂
but i have a cat and a ferret
Interesting, ferret. Do they smell?
not strong if you dont keep them in a cage and you dont bath them, so their skin is very soft so if its bathed constantly like normal it will start to stink and its hair would fall off, so it has its smell but not strong at all and you get used to the ferret smell and its fine, i dont wanna bore you with ferret stuff cause there's things to know about ferrets before getting them lol
We have 2 chickens.
Cute what breed?
Very productive
Chickens. I have a friend with chickens and ducks but the ducks constantly put mud in the chicken water.
Im gonna separate them when they r older.
