Do you think it’s rude when someone doesn’t say thank you when you hold the door for them?

So this morning I held the doors for one of the staff at my college since she had her hands full. She didn’t say a word. She just walked past and didn’t say a word. That’s why I don’t like doing things for people anymore. No manners. To think that she’s older, she‘s be wiser.
Maybe I shouldn’t say thank you anymore. You’re supposed to say thank you when people do things for you. That’s the rules and proper manners.

Forget about it don't stress yourself. you do it because you are a good & well mannered person, don't expect everyone to be the same. Keep on doing good things wheather they appreciate it or not.

I know but I can’t help it. She’s a kind lady but her to not say thank you disappointed me. Kids I understand and they’re learning but adults I thought they would know better it’s a shame that I’m more polite than they are! I’m done doing nice things for them.

Sure, do think it's rude. I usually make a mental note because being on the spectrum I have a photographic memory. I also roll my eyes and I am thinking fuck you.
