Simple question... Do you have Life Insurance? Why or why not?
Yes, with a kid I definitely sleep better at night knowing that if anything happened to me my wife and son wouldn't have to worry about how to make ends meet without my income. I've got two policies- one provided as part of my benefits package at work for $60k and one I pay for out of pocket for $1 million. Between that and my IRAs it will allow my wife and kid to continue living the way they are now without having to downsize housing or cut back on vacations, college saving, etc.

No life insurance and no will. This is because I have no wife, no kids, no car, and no house. My IRA will go to whom I've designated. I just need to get a prepaid funeral and everything is set but I believe the rapture will be soon anyway so no funeral would be needed in that case.
Yes. I actually took a policy in case I left this world too early, and to give leave behind something for my daughters, although from my former employment they get something, but its not much. I hope that I never have to have it used--but its there just in case.
Yess me, my hubby and kids all have life insurance just in case something would happen.

Just the cheap stuff through work as an extra gift to my mom if I go before her. I have no heirs and I'm leaving all my estate to charity, so there's no real cause to have life insurance other than a borrowing instrument, but I don't ever really need to borrow anything.
Nope and in no rush. The little bit I do have, my family (parents, grandparents, siblings) doesn't deserve. And i see how my grandma smiles waiting for something to happen to my grandpa so she can collect. Its just horrible to have thoughts like that. I hope to live a long life but if I die before them, roll me up in a carpet and throw me into the ocean, bonfire or sinkhole 🤷‍♀️ Just make sure I’m fully dead first
Yeap. Incase I die, the people I love most will get paid. Same reason I have my will all done.
No, I never could see buying something that I can only collect on if I die. I have known people who had big life insurance policies and then they die and rhe surviving spouse goes on a tropical vacation and buys a condo in Florida. I want my wife and kids to say '"Wasn't it sure nice when Pop was alive"
I am lucky to have it my mom left but beside it's function , I think it is like bonds that can lock interest rate when the interest rate goes down.
I don't believe my parent have live insurance on each other and I don't since I will inherit my parents money if something happens to them. The reason is my mom has not worked since retirement years ago, so she has no income beyond government retirement income and our tenant payouts from our investment properties.
Yes i do! Why? It's a part of the Swedish system where everyone has kind of life insurance. Then it's up to you if you want to upgrade it and so on.
No, most of the things that I do that are likely to kill me are not covered by normal insurance. We also have enough money saved up that either of us would be OK if the other died
Yes we do have life insurance for the obvious reason if something would happen to either of us it would be a big financial help
No, this feels totally useless to me; this is an insurance you will Never see your money again, you will not get any return on this investment in your lifetime. You can't buy back your life, so the policy is useless to you.
No, I do not. Why not? I am an only child with no children or other living close relatives. Currently if I die, my best friend gets my house and all other assets except my business, which would be taken over by my office manager.
i do currently and only started gaving it recently. reason being that it is an automatic benefit from my job that costs me zero (suprising since its from cthe hartford" )
Nope but I probably should get it soon. Thanks for reminding me.
Yes. The purpose of life insurance is to replace income. My wife is sole beneficiary.
I do. Who knows. It's just that an insurance policy.
Yes I do. I've had it for years. If anything happens to me I want to be sure my wife is set for the rest of her life.
30 year term, $500K @ $60/month. Expires when I’m 70.
Yes, it is an important thing to have. You never know what tomorrow will bring.
No, can't get it without it costing a fortune because of my health
I do not have life insurance. I have no reason to have it since it doesn't matter to me. What happens to my property or my money after I die doesn't matter. I have no one to leave it to as I am an orphan.
