How to cancel a baby shower?

What are some good excuses to cancel a babyshower? Not going into context of why, but my sister is throwing me a shower at her house and I want to cancel. Thinking about playing hooky and send my husband in as surrogate. What are some good excuses?

You’d think, but if it were that easy I’d just tell my sister nvm and pay her for her expenses. However, she’d honestly probably never speak to me again and as over dramatic as that sounds it’s true. I didn’t want the shower in the first place and all that it’s brought is drama, which I’m over with at this point.

Well. It is what it is. I’m sure it’s a hard situation. But if she’s doing something that yoh don’t want and you tell her this and she does it anyways. It is what it is.

Be up front. If it causes problems than kick your sister out of your life. I've kicked my sister out of my life and I don't regret. I don't need or want her BS in mine or my baby's life
