If you don't have a gift just bring a card. I guess it's okay... your there to celebrate the mother like if you don't got it you don't got it but if you're making money u should deff bring something at least a card

It is generally considered proper etiquette to bring a gift to a baby shower, as the purpose of the shower is to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a new baby and to help the parents prepare for the baby's arrival. However, if you are unable to bring a gift, it is still okay to attend the baby shower and show your support for the parents-to-be. You may consider bringing something small, such as a handwritten card or a homemade gift, to show your congratulations and support.

If you don't mind everyone calling you a cheapskate behind your back go right ahead.

You can, but a gift is expected. Doesn't need to be expensive, just thoughtful.

No, at least bring something small. My go-to is a fruit platter of some kind bc mom-to-be needs her fiber no matter who the heck she is.

Yeah its fine. The mom most likely won't even notice who did and didn't bring a gift

I wouldn’t unless you go with someone who bought a gift.

Hell yeah. We can't all have money. Love is so much better. Show your face. Show your love. We won't even remember who gave what 8 hours later. Even if we are appreciative

I guess it's okay. I personally would never show up with empty hands.

I probably wouldn’t show up if I didn’t have a gift because that’s the whole point of baby showers anyway , maybe they won’t notice

I thought it was called a shower because you shower the baby with gifts?
