What is something nostalgic that you have experienced recently after a long time?

I was at my male cousin's house in Canada when my cousin from America came to visit us and I remembered when I used to visit his home in my twenties and how much I liked it. My mom wanted to stop hanging out with them cause every often the meals we got them cost more then the meals they got us and we felt their desire to save money was affecting our freedoms.

Normally I'm a very stoic person but I always get super emotional and nostalgic when I hear a song or smell something that brings memories. I find myself longing to go back to that good old days. I recently found my dad's zippo and it was the catalyst that made me return to these memories.

Playing the 2010s playlists on youtube. There were so many songs that I forgot about. But now I can recall them again, it feels warm and comforting but sad at the same time.
Oh how I miss my happier days.
