What are things that make you feel nostalgic?

For me it's the games I played on my wii or nintendo 3DS (animal crossing, Pokémon, Mario games, sims, sonic, ...)

Also music, I turned on a Spotify playlist called nostalgic hits and damn still vibin' with it.

I'm 19 ofc, so I'd imagine that lots of y'all have different things than me that are nostalgic for you. (Certain TV series, movies, scents, ...)

I am into all the same stuff haven't really changed, so I don't know it makes me feel nostalgic tbh. Because it's not really nostalgia if I am still doing that stuff.
It is cool that I managed to get a MTG card of a dragon that was on the title screen to one of the old MTG xbox games, it's foil as well so that makes me super happy. Not exactly a good card by today standards but it's unique and reminds me of that game. So that's something. Makes me want to get Godsire who's this massive beast who was also on the loading screens.

Mtg is a bit different to yugioh in that sense because in yugioh I already own any of the iconic cards. Since I used to be more into that but now prefer MTG.

And I did find a book of my favourite book that I read while at school so guess there are somethings that I do for. Class A, one of best books I've read. It's the 2nd in the series of Cherub. About spy organisation using kids to spy for them a bit like Alex rider with storm-breaker but way better. And Class A is of course about drugs and a drug dealer they have to take down by getting close to his son, and getting involved in the trade themselves.
The Main character is just great it's wrote really well about how he cares about his sister but also like any siblings they are always arguing about something lol. One of the main points is he don't want his sister been put into these situations, but she a bit more childish and wants to rank up fast in this spy organisation.

At some point the series like any series it becomes bad but can't remember which that one was I think it was about some terrorist group and just everything about it felt unrealistic and was hard to follow.

when I was a kid, which was not forever ago either, there used to be a lot of kids playing around, running around, skating, biking... doing sports, chasing each other, laughing like maniacs... it was a busy street every day

nowadays though... it is very rare to see any of that, and when I do... it's usually two or three, and just for a short amount of time as well... now all the kids are glued to their phones or tablets, and that's a bit sad to me... lol, makes me feel nostalgic as well

I kinda love how for a lot of people nostalgy is connected to the newest handheld nintendo console at their time and pokemon. For me its my Gameboy advanced and pokemon yellow or smaragd. Also while later still in my childhood lego star wars on ps2 feels also kinda nostalgic.
Asside from games watching children do ballet reminds me when I did it myself.

When I think of nostalgia, I usually think of cartoons and the games I played on PS1 and PS2. Crash Bandicoot, Fifa and PES, which I played with my brother and constantly lost, Tekken 5, Medal of Honor, Syphon Filter, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and the cartoons I watched were SpongeBob, Avatar, Kung Fu Panda, Garfield, Regular Show, Sonic the Hedgehog. those were good/gold days

Probably the new Super Mario Bros game. I remember when I was little, me and my brother would always play multiplayer on those DS devices, especially around Christmas time... It was so fun. Also those old Christmas movies like A Christmas Story, Home Alone, and Elf.

Sometimes I wil be walking or riding through the area and someone cooks food. My brain sometimes opens up a memory of grandmom cooking in her kitchen when I was a wee lad. Me standing there helping her with the sauce while she is frying up meatballs and dealing with the potatoes.
