Bill Gates booked a Michelin restaurant for 2 days and all he consumed while he was there was a can of Pepsi. My dad had another friend who took us to a top top top restaurant in China and his friend basically ate rice and water while he was there, he had been dining out for so long that he was tired of restaurant food. We had duck and all this expensive food but all our host had was rice with water. So yes, you get sick and tired of food and drink and vacations after a while. I had multiple fine dining meals when my cousin came to visit me and after they left, I just wanted rice and water for 3 days. I enjoyed the food but I don't want to eat like that every single day.

Money won't buy me happiness, but it can eliminate stress which will in turn make happiness easier to cultivate/perceive.

Money can help lower stress in a person's life but if you're a miserable person deep inside then money isn't going to just fix that.
