Do you believe money can buy happiness?

I believe it can in some situations. Not always.

For example loneliness can lead to unhappiness. If a person who is lonely wins money that can help buy them a good holiday and nice hotel and increase their chances of meeting new people. For example a person might feel insecure, unhappy about how a certain part of their body looks. Feelings of insecurity can definitely lead to unhappiness. Money can buy cosmetic surgery and improve their self esteem. Higher self esteem equals improved happiness.

Here is one example where money can’t buy happiness. Money cannot reverse time. For example if a person is feeling depressed about the death of a person they really cared about no amount of money can help them in that situation unfortunately.

No, but a lack of money can cause misery. St8dies suggest that after one has sufficient funds to comfortably meet basic needs, additional money does not increase happiness. In the US this is about $70K/year depending on the local cost of living.

Of course no amount of money can fix chronically poor health. Enjoy life while you can.

Yes for sure. If someone gave me $100,000,000 today, I'd be happy for life. Money = opportunities. Also, money frees up time that you otherwise would have spent working. I'd still "work" if I had money, but it definitely wouldn't be no desk job

For me, money would buy me happiness. It would solve the majority of my problems. Being debt free. Being able to move where I want to move. Traveling wherever while I'm still young. Yeah it would change a lot for me and for the better.

No, or better, once you got enough money to take care of your worries, any more amount of money don't really increase your happiness level.

Or not enough money makes you unhappy, but more than enough money doesn't make you happy.

Not really. I have two jobs to make more money and I am always under pressure and stress. I am not miserable because I am too busy to meditate on it too much.
However, it makes me feel useful when I have enough money to spend on my girlfriend, parents and friends. Which to me is happiness.
It does not give you happiness when you as a man don’t earn it yourself.
