Do you think money can buy happiness?

For me it’s not always, but mostly we can solve problems with money.

To a degree yes. I would be so happy if I could erase all my parents bills, pay of their house and their truck. I’d be happy if I could give my sisters and brothers a house of their choice. I’d be happy donating a good chuck of money to the children’s hospital. Money does bring happiness because it opens a lot more doors that you normally wouldn’t have access too if you were middle to lower class. Imagine having the best medical care possible if you needed it as opposed to what a majority of us have access to. If you don’t think so send me all your next paychecks and I’ll show you just how happy I can be as well as those I help out financially. For me I enjoy helping others, I work in a hospital. So if I could help out more financially it would make me that much happier to be able to help more than what I do now.

In some ways, YES, because if you have money you can do the things that make you happy, though I suppose it depends what your aspirations are

Can you directly buy happiness with money as if emotion is a product? No.


Can you use money to create financial stability, rid yourself of debt, pay for repairs/food/rent? Yes.


Can having all those things create a stable base upon which one can easily build their happiness? Also yes.

No money cannot buy happiness, it can however prevent you being evicted for not paying your rent, being able to go shopping and pay for food for your family and not rely on a food bank. While money does not buy you happiness it goes some way to helping you get through life.

Money can’t buy happiness, but sometimes I spend thousands dollar on shopping on fashion and i always happy with that, or even sometimes just buy my favorite foods with money, and feeling so happy while enjoying my foods, or helping people in the street like homeless with money and feeling so happy when i see their smile. So money can buy happiness sometimes.

It can dissolve a lot of stress when it comes to the financial side! and bring a lot of happiness for just a moment in time! but that won't last long (and some lottery winners say it can actually make you more miserable)

stats show that money does make you happier up to a point. that us middle class and upper class individuals on average are about as happy as one another but they are both visibly happier than lower class individuals meaning yes it does make you happy but there are limits.

And there are still more poor people who commit suicide than rich people. It’s still better to have a lot of problems but still have money than have a lot problems with no money.

Cars and houses in don’t really care. But health care, dental care, foods and ticket to see family and friends who live far away are need money.

I live in the UK. Health care is free at the point of access anyway, dental is heavily subsidised too
