Why is my baby peeing outside of his diaper?

My baby weighs 8 pounds and I have him wearing a size 1 diaper, but he keeps peeing outside of it. Is there a way to fix this issue? I checked the leg cuffs and they are loose on him; you can fit 3 fingers and understand he's in the beginning of the size 1. Will it get better once he gains more weight?

My second pees through every nappy it seems, he's freaking ridiculous.

Yeah. I do aim it down but he still pees it does not happen that often where he does it. It only seems to happen when I feed him and maybe I'm putting the diaper on to tight.

You might need a smaller diaper size for him, angle the penis down when you’re putting the diaper on and maybe tighten the tabs if you can. You want to be able to fit a finger between the waistband

Diaper is to small, to big, not enough absorption, maybe you don't know how to put it on properly or it might just be the wrong type of diaper for your son. When you diaper a boy remember to always put the penis down otherwise they will pee on their chest

I work with kids and when it comes to Boys you have to make sure his thing is inside the diaper pointing down. Cause if its pointed up it will start leaking

Yeah, I've done that but he still pees out of it. It does not happen all the time it's just during when I feed him he starts to pee all over me

It can be you wait too long because they can't hold too much. Check him sometimes if its wet change it.

Yes check it before and after. Does he cry when you feed him or after? Because if he reacts badly to the food he might pee a lot to get it out

Yeah, he would fuss when I give him the bottle and then continues to eat. He usually cries a lot before eating or during not after
