Should I feel gross for being in need of using diapers?

I'm currently 25. When I was 23, I had a surgery in my neck to remove a tumor. Unfortunately because the surgery I lost the ability to notice when I had to use the bathroom completely. It's something I'm extremely embarrassed over as I've developed social anxiety because of it. I'm not sure if I should, but I feel gross if I have an accident in public

You have a medical condition. There is nothing to be ashamed of. You are alive so that is a good thing. You have to deal with everything else..

Maybe you can see a specialist that can help get your control back.
