Do you think YouTube should ban/shutdown users like these?

A girl I dated used to follow these types. Especially nick.
I think it's good to have these videos exist so people can have a little more life perspective. You just look at them and you instinctual know there's something wrong. These people are documenting their delusiinal journeys. I think some people really benefit from it. Maybe the next time you feel like stress eating and this comes up on your page, I will push you to turn that whole second lunch into a snack.
No I'm against censorship. If it's not for you don't watch. I will also so no content should be pushed in front of you either.

Yes, they should. I'm familiar with Eugena Cooney, and Nikocado Avocado and HungryFatChick I'm definitely familiar with.
It's people like this that makes foreigners think that EVERY obese person is big because of food.
"Oh, they're fat because they eat fast food everyday."
My Mom was in the morbidly obese range past 300. However, she never stuffed her face like these two by ordering fast food everyday, never touched soda, drank water, etc.. She had various issues that caused weight gain, not something like this. After dealing with kidney issues, heart issues, genetic diabetes, sleep apnea, lympedema, etc., she passed away in 2020 at only 52 years old.
HungryFatChick seems sweet, but it's depressing that her and Nik are literally killing themselves. Nik is only a year or two younger than me, YOUNGER THAN ME, and is sleeping with a CPAP and using a scooter to get around the store because two steps and he's already out of breath. Also with Nik, the more he ate fast food, the more unhinged he became. He also made multiple channels, and it's clear he loves the money YouTube is giving him.
I do follow YouTubers who eat fast food. But the difference is at least they take good care of themselves.
Nik and Hungry (known as Candy) don't. If they DO change, which seems very likely right now, they would need surgery.
No I don’t think it should be banned or shut down but may be a warning of content we do get to turn it on or off we get to choose what we want to watch. Sometimes you can’t undo what you see and watch what you see etc. so just be careful if you are responsible and some of us are but there are people out there that I have to learn the hard way, and it’s up to them to watch or not to watch regardless of the Content
As bad and self destructive as it is. It’s still freedom of speech. People need to police their children’s internet usage so they aren’t being brainwashed into these unhealthy lifestyles or fetishes, but as soon as we start censoring things, it opens the door to start censoring political and religious opinions.
I don't really see how you can do this without violating the content creator's right to post it.
All that's to say, though, I think it should be flagged so that viewers who are young or suffer from these problems don't have to view it.
There are 1000s of great videos on YouTube, but if you look at the site in overall terms, probably about 80% of the site is garbage. The reaction videos are probably the worst of the worst. People are actually watching videos of people watching videos, how bored do you have to be?
Nah I'm nit a communist if fat people wanna eat to their death let them not everyone actually will be influenced to eat like those people nobody want to be that sloppy as for the girl who suffers with being skinny, I think she should be encouraging people to seek a therapist
She is quite literally a dancing skeleton. That's sad, bizarre and very disturbing. Why is crap like this even being allowed in the first place? Don't they have moderators or something?
no because that goes against free speech
but it's ok to criticize them because that's also free speech
While me might LIKE to have these horrible examples banned forever, freedom of speech would be compromised. We have the option of switching things off.
* oops- WE not ME.
When and where the blazes was that first video made? Dachau prison camp in 1945?
Maybe, but I definitely like to see so called "influencers" banned that bully people and make money off it. Like that clown that got shot in that Mall in Virginia.
I don't think it should be shut down or banned but put a warning message that would make you click on it to see the video. It gives you an option to see it or not
what else should the censor and who should make the censorship decisions?
fair point guess my question stands should the mass of users decide what to censor?
I think I'd rather not see the thumbnails and recommendations from YouTube about such channels. That's all.
Banning them is the last thing YouTube should do. These people are a great example of what can happen when you take the path less traveled.
These people are slowly killing themselves and nobody should think it's cool
No. Why do you think they should be banned?
NO... I BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OF SPEECH. EVEN IF I DON'T AGREE WITH IT.
Nope.
