Car only cranks after sitting for more than 30 minutes?

I’m sorry if this doesn’t make any sense but I’m trying to explain it the best I can.
My car has been having this problem where I can drive it for awhile and turn it off once it’s parked, then wait for maybe 10 minutes to fully crank it again, then it dies completely. Then have to wait 30+ minutes to fully crank it for it run.

Your battery may be dying. Have it checked at your local auto parts store. They do that for free. I'd check the battery before the alternator, though, if the battery is good, it is probably a bad alternator.

People see "Maintenance Free" on their battery and assume they never need to maintain it. Actually, you need to make sure to add distilled water when needed. Your auto parts store can show you how to determine the level. Since COVID, distilled water has been hard to find, though you can go on YouTube and learn how to make your own in a microwave oven very easily.

It's either a spark problem (less likely) or a fuel problem (more likely). Perhaps the fuel pump is starting to get weak, the fuel filter is clogged, or the fuel injectors are clogged (the latter is less likely).

I would start by replacing the fuel filter - that is likely inexpensive and relatively easy (though it isn't always), and it's far from unusual that something is in the filter and that eventually the fuel pressure drops and the obstruction is released, but it takes some time before the pressure drops enough for that to happen.

Could it be related to overheating? Are there any strange smells (electric kettle x 10) or sounds (gurgling/hissing)? Where is the motor temperature needle after driving for a while?

The needle sits in the middle between C & H

Okay, then it’s almost certainly not temperature related. You should have checked the electrical readouts from the alternator and the battery, that’s five minutes work, including attaching the test cables.
