Does raising your voice out of aggravation at your one year make you a bad mother?

Don’t do it again. At one, they need love, caring and hugs.
if it requires yelling… something is not right.
I raised my little sister.. my own 2 kids… and 30 1st graders… yelling is ineffective.

I give him lots of love and affection, yelling isn’t normal for me but due to lack of sleep/rest and him choosing to not to go to sleep and cry, flustered me. I believe it even hurt his feelings when I yelled because it’s not normal for me to do it. I don’t just yell at him for little things and him doing things that babies do. I was overwhelmed.

No, it's fine if you do it once in a while, since we all make mistakes. You'd only be a bad one if it were a consistent thing.

Doing one bad action doesn't define the situation. Yelling at a 1 year old is pointless though. All it does is convey danger to them.
