Shouldn't the second picture be something like:

and captioned "Wales"? I mean, if you're going to use a picture of dolphins for the first one...
I mean, "whale" is a paraphyletic group. Dolphins are a family of toothed whales, so it's not technically wrong.
I guess it would be more like showing a picture of Wales with the caption "United Kingdom".
Depends entirely on the context. I might be slightly more likely to think of the whales in the ocean.
I went on a whale watch one off the Pacific coast when they were migrating. We saw several. Even got to see a flipper and water spout. Also got to see the guy I was with get seasick - he didn't puke, but he was fighting it.
You forgot wails.
I've been to Wales once, and the people were so friendly
You missed a trick

Lakes Wales, a small city in central Florida: many lakes, no whales.
If said correctly the two words are completely different, but Americans tend to butcher the English language.
There be whales here.
Definitely not the country.
The very large ocean-going creatures!
I said whales but it could be WAILS too/
Bilbo was Welsh, I’m sure of it!
Yes he was, if you look at a map of middle earth it's based on south wales.
