I inherited a coin collection from a great uncle three years ago and it’s been appraised at 7000-12,000 dollars. It’s definitely something I want to hold onto. What valuable possessions do you have?

Outside of what's not allowed , and I'm including my share portfolio as " not allowed " because its not an actual item , I really don't think I have too much of value.
I'm looking around the Condo , and I'm thinking of back in Australia , collectively I think it would merely be all my golf clubs , I used to own a golf shop , and I'm always looking for clubs to trade and sell , difficult to do that here in Thailand , but I never really stopped in Australia.
All of my serious assets , can not be counted , and I don't have expensive " stuff " its just not my style.

I do have expensive antique jewelry that is unfortunately to ugly to wear. Things like broaches, pendants, watches….. I’m not gonna part with them but yeah, not gonna wear them either.

One of my brothers always wanted a Rolex since he was a kid! I have no idea why but my parents made a deal with him, if he could go five, maybe six birthdays and Christmases without a gift, they would buy him one. When he turned 18, he got it! He was so happy, because he was expecting it as a Christmas present, not for his birthday. That’s actually one of my favorite memories as a family. We were all so happy for him.

that is definitely a very nice gift and story... haha
and will sure have much more value than the price tag, as well... classy

My DJ gear is worth $13,000, separated from the music.
That's about it. I don't often spend money on things that won't generate money back.00 Reply

This book was written by a couple who I think in the late 70s road across Canada and the United States in portions of South America and Europe in northern Africa in parts of the Middle East and Asia so they basically rode their bikes around the world and took pictures. Then they submitted everything to the publisher and while they were waiting for the publisher to put out the book Barbara, the wife was hit by a car on her bike and died so the husband post the book in his wife’s name only as a tribute.

Oldest book I have is a reprint of a 1495 book by Thomas a Kempis. It was reprinted in 1717. A 1st edition autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The two volume set of a collection of all the letters that George Washington wrote to the continental congress while fighting the revolutionary war. Among others

My mom has a Little House on the Prairie collection. I think they’re from the fifties? Her God mother got them for he because my mom loved reading them from the school library. So, every year a new book came out, her God mother bought it for her. I never thought of books being worth a lot of 💰 until I started watching Pawn Stars. There is definitely money to be made.

Definitely treasured! Like I told another opiner, I have antique jewelry that’s been handed down that’s definitely not my taste but there is a lot of history behind it. It’s valuable but also precious to me. Even though I’ll never wear it, I’ll never part with it.

😂😂 46 isn’t old! Are you serious? I have a pendant handed down from my great grandmother, that my great grandfather worked like two jobs to buy her, as the story goes. It was during the depression and he eventually went off to war, while they were unofficially engaged. When he came back home, he had a Swiss watch and diamond ring for her. They got married and had my grandmother. From there, the jewelery was handed down to my mother. Then she had, your’s truly! 😂 The only girl in my family, so I was given those, among other jewelery. I treasure them and will wear them when I get married. I still remember when my mom gave them to me! All she said was, “just think of the love story behind these” And I do!
