I simulate the situation in my head trying to imagine all possible outcomes and I plan my winning strategy to maximize the chance of it going well. Then I hit the real world and execute adapting on the fly.

They say your worst enemy is yourself and these are all self destructive situations, id say the best way is keeping your mind positive and focus on doing that and you won't even feel the depression and anxiety.
