He was having an issue with his work computer. Apparently the IT guy was being really awkward on the phone. He ended up getting aggressive. My boyfriend is usually very calm but was so fed up that he ended the call telling him he doesn’t need his help.
My boyfriend has 2 weeks left at this current job and is hoping he won’t need the laptop completely. He’s been asking colleagues for notes.
I’ve told him just swallow his ego call back and get the issue fixed even though the guy is terrible, incase he needs it.
Is this the right advice?

Right advice would be ask for the guys supervisor! Get him to fix it!
Really it are the worst people cause they have no social skills just get given a booklet on how to fix the most popular problems.
They are some of the dumbest most frustrating people who look down on others!
Why deal with the guy when there is a supervisor that needs a call about a mouse refusing to cooperate and do his work.
correct, he needs the tec guy and must cooperate.
Or google the problem there are lots of technical help forums.
