I was bullied in school and when I fight back, my teachers sided with the bully. Kicked out of school for defending myself.

I was the scapegoat of my class. Teachers were blaming me for everything.

I was bullied from age 4 to age 17 - when I finally had enough.

First it was because I was a dancer, then because I got a scholarship for secondary school and none of the "jocks" got in even on a partial. Then because my brother was killed in a road accident.

Then because I didn't have a girlfriend, then it was the "wrong" girl.

By 16 I'd attempted suicide twice.

Then a guy accused me of trying to sexually assault the only girl I'd gone out with. So despite being smaller than him I finally snapped and knocked him down.

The teacher who pulled me off him just said "well... It's about fucking time you did that" and as I'd calmed down and put my specs back on he grinned and went to the other guy. Don't know what he said to him, but we actually got on pretty well after that.

Only had 5 physical fights in my life. Never lost one. I'd rather not have had any. My grandfather always told me to "only fight as a last resort. Never throw the first punch. Just the last."

I was bullied as a small, shy child. I ended that in HS. I called out my bully. He punched me in the face; but he wasn't counting on me getting back up, grabbing him by the throat, and pounding his face. Sadly, people pulled me off before I could finish him. He never bothered me again.

Yes, but mine was very extreme, to the point where I totally blocked out one incident in my mind.
To make it short, my siblings and I grew up with a father who was mentally ill. He was often violent and abusive with my mother. That was the worst of my childhood.
Then I grew up with a sister who seemed to hate me and told me I was adopted many times. I was often in doubt and asked my mom about it.
Because of my father, I grew up and felt isolated from my friends who had normal lives. That’s about the gist of it!

I got over the trauma years ago. I was bullied until I had enough and beat the crap out of the bully. He got suspended and I got detention. When he came back to school we actually became friends

I didn't "have" childhood trauma. My childhood "was" trauma.
