Trigger warning- Dead animals
When I was little, my dad took me to his friend’s farm, and told me to go explore while he chatted with his friend. I did go explore, and I eventually stumbled upon a large shed/warehouse looking building near the animal paddocks and I wasn’t sure what was inside, so I went in.

It ended up being a disgusting huge storage building for skinned animals, and meat storage and it even had some pens with alive pigs and their litters in it. There were whole skinned animals hanging from the ceilings and the smell was absolutely HORRIFIC. It reminded me of death, and was all echoey with the pigs screaming. I was super freaked out and tried to leave. The door was this ultra-security door which as a little boy, had no idea how to open.

I screamed and screamed for help.. but I one came. It was like something out of a horror movie.
Someone found me about 40minutes later and I got in trouble for ‘snooping around’

I have never been able to look at or handle raw meat since then, I just get so sick, and have even thrown up.. so I can’t ever cook it. I only eat meat if someone else has cooked it, or if it’s pre cooked.

Anyone else have experiences they’d like to share?
