OF COURSE! No possibility of new development or annoying new neighbors. Instead, you have quiet neighbors - the quietest! - and they don't throw parties or drive ATVs on their property and, best of all, don't have kids - especially teens. It's like the ultimate "senior community".
Please tell me you were only joking about riding ATV’s across people’s graves?
@Cute_Miss_Laura no, but my current neighbors next to me ride their ATVs on their property. This upsets my horse and dogs and wife and me.
The neighbors on the other side did too AND illegally up and down the street. They had a criminal record and ultimately were evicted.
Wait, you replied no? Look, I’m happy to hear that they were caught and convicted. When people break the law, they should be convicted, but how does you riding ATV’s literally over the graves off other people on property which (presumably) belongs to the church, get justified because somebody completely unconnected to the cemetery once annoyed you by riding "ATVs on their property”? Sorry I don’t get it! Is this under the “but they did it first” theory of jurisprudence?
@Cute_Miss_Laura I voted YES.
Forget about cemeteries. You are confused.
My existing neighbors who are living are a pain in the ass.
Ahhh Okay! Sorry, My bad, sweetie 😢. I’ve been incredible busy, and had just driven over two hours to get to my parent’s. My mind is not at 100%
Sorry, Laura 🤗 🥰

"NOT having to deal with annoying neighbors is why I'd move next to a cemetery. The dead are the best of all possible neighbors. They aren't annoying and they don't complain... or have kids."
The dead also won't sell their property to future annoying neighbors.
Shit, I wish I could BUY a cemetery and live there.
Yeah sweetie, you mentioned that once or twice. I can understand your rationale, but some idiot babysitter let me watch Poltergeist when I was like 8 or 9, so the idea of being anywhere near a cemetery… Well we all saw what happened in that documentary “Poltergeist”!!!
LOL 😂
Sincerely, Laura 🤗 🥰
Not a chance - knowing what I know about groundwater. If you have a water well supply (take water from the ground) and no municipal or city water service, then you could be sucking in eau de dead people (nitrates/nitrites/bacteria), embalming fluids, etc.
Perhaps a disused one but I wouldn't like to see funerals or people tending graves. I'm not religious but I feel those are private moments.
yea it's probably wayyy cheaper for what it is since a lot of people wouldn't buy it. plus i dont believe in ghosts, zombies, etc so idc

I have nothing to fear from the dead.
But I will say no.
For the sole purpose that I would much rather maintain what is left of my sanity.
At least you won't be having noisy neighbors.
No one believes me, but my brother and I worked at a funeral home. As a side gig, we went out and picked up dead bodies. It's funny, because people assume that these bodies get to a morgue or funeral home by magic. Or they think the fire department delivers them. Nope. Some minimum wage schmuck or schmucks go and retrieve them. We were in college, and it was an extra way to make money. You don't arrive on the scene in a hearse. We arrived in a blue Chevy van. It's spooky at first, but like everything, it becomes routine. My biggest concern was lack of sleep. I felt bad for the crying family, but my biggest concern was getting to class on time.
I grew up next to a graveyard its pretty nice the dead dont file noise complaints or so
Of course. 100% guarantee of growth and expansion and I can sell it to the city or county eventually.
As long as none dumps green glowing goop on their graves you should be fine.
But if that every happens run!
No that’s so sad I just couldn’t I wouldn’t be able to cope gosh just even looking at that photo makes me sad 😔
Sure, don't need to worry about noisy or nosey neighbors. 😎
Yes then turn it into a thriving tourist attraction with a morbid horror theme at the expense of the dead.
didn't bother them on The Sopranos
Yes, the dead never throws a loud party or keeps a couple of junk cars in their driveway.
Sure I would. You won't have to worry about waking them up if you have parties or doing yard work early in the morning.
Sure at least your neighbors would be quiet!
I don't know how that effects property values so I don't know.
Why not the neighbors won't complain about noisy parties
No, but because of other people’s superstitions driving the property worth down.
No thats like bad luck horror movie style
Quiet neighbors outside of Halloween. Sure.
Absolutely. I hate loud neighbors.
No, thats gross.
I don't think so. I'm too superstitious
I would if it was cheaper
No it would be frightening
Are you kidding me? HELLL NAW
I used to live across the street from one.
Of course! Can’t get any better neighbors.
Sure. It would be quiet.
