Happens sometimes when you're acting as wing woman at a bar and it's your turn to get the drinks for the two hitting it off. If a guy is willing to chat with you while waiting for the bartender, it's usually a compliment.

If I'm taking my job as wing woman seriously, I'll chat with the rando to pass the time. Even if it never amounts to anything, I do think some guys are happy for the company. After letting them know I'm married, a few have been happy to buy me a drink just for being nice and keeping them "socially lubricated" for the next girl they might meet.

If I'm in a bad mood, I'll politely decline and head back to my friend group or the bathroom as swiftly as possible.

Happened to me last night at the club as a wing woman and just directly to me lol. I politely excuse myself or just ignore them if they’re coming too strong. But maybe if they’re friendly & has good energy, maybe I’ll talk to them as a friend lol.

Usually I treat everyone as "friend". No discrimination until that person turns hostile.

And in most cases we enjoyed each other's company. Just socialise, I would call it.

Until if she starts advancing more intimately and I feel uncomfortable, then perhaps I'll find a reason to excuse myself. But usually that doesn't happen. (I'm OK with most advances as I treat these as innocent flirting.)

I'd keep conversating with them. It's surprising in what may happen over time with someone you're not initially attracted to. A friend of mine ended up getting married to a woman that didn't fall at all under his type looks wise and it was under a similar circumstance. His type was long legged tall blondes and his wife is a short Hispanic woman.

almost completely impossible to happen to me. about the only way i am at a bar is by being someone's sober driver and the few people i spend time around that mite need that rarely even think about a bar. closest is usually drinks at a resturaunt.
