I just got notified that I have been on GaG for 3 years. It does not really seem possible. I thought it was 2 years.
It flies when I am engrossed in something and totally in the zone.
It happens when I am writing, working on a project, or reading.
It often happens when I'm having fun. But it would also happen when I was trying to finish my paperwork at the end of the day for my job.
When I'm driving a long distance, listening to an audio book makes time fly.
It happened when I first met my (future) wife. We arranged a date at a restaurant. Our conversation just flowed and time disappeared.
At some point, I felt something bumping my foot and realized that a waiter was vacuuming under our table. We looked around that the place was empty. They were trying to close. We had been there for over 2 hours and hadn't even realized.
I also had it happen during sex with one particular girlfriend. We would go at it for hours without pausing to rest or recharge. One time, I happened to notice the clock when we started. When we finally collapsed, drained and exhausted, I looked at the clock and nine hours had passed. It didn't seem possible.

At one time you thought about deleting your account. Are you glad you stayed?
Let's see-
When I'm relaxing, sleeping, gaming, doing fun activities that make me happy, or it's the weekend, time seems to go by faster, as you're distracted and caught in the moment.
Yet when I am at work or doing something tedious, time goes by ridiculously slow (or appears to). So yeah, it sure feels that way.
sometimes, I take a step back... look at the people around me, what they say, how they smile and laugh, let myself inhale and exhale..., and feel the moment before I return to them...
it doesn't slow the flow of the time, but lets me remember those joyful moments better :)

Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
Yes indeed, it's why life itself seems so fast when you have a good job, but when you have a crappy one a weekend seems like a smoke break, while each workday stretches like taffy.
I thought i was only working at my job for 2 years. Apparently I’ve been working there for 3. And that’s not due to always having fun. Sure, i like the job, it isn’t difficult. But customers can occasionally be a pain in the ass and coworkers, sometimes even new hires, get on my nerves so badly i consider quitting but there is nothing else out there i can see myself doing. I don’t want to leave my few friends i still work with and i don’t want to have to get used to a whole new job where the boss could be a bitch unlike my current boss who is cool and the rest of management so far are cool too.
While I have fun, I don't notice 'time' .
And when I'm not counting hours or days - is it any wonder when we are surprised that it took longer than we felt it?
It must be similar to using a credit card: you see the bill only once it's... too late :DIt really does fly if you're enjoying yourself. It felt so good. Why is it over? How to I restart all that fun?
Part of the reason I'm an insomniac.
Time is the only thing that develops wings after drinking redbull so it can fly 😞
It sure does. Especially in high school! It felt like I went to bed one night as a freshman and when I woke up I was graduating. Now, it seems like every time I wake up I’m a year older. 😔
2019 i feel is like yesterday time is really goin so fast
IT DOES! Because you're not focused on the time! Three minutes til work is done. Last time I checked the time, it said...3 minutes! So you know, there!

yeah... sometimes I'd be with someone for six, eight, twelve... even 16 hours and then we'll be like WTF? lol
and it didn't really feel like that much of a long time... so yes, there's definitely some great people like that around Sometimes time just flies even when you’re not having fun lol
No it flues when you are mentally distracted from living in the moment. Gag is an example of that.
Sure. I joined sometime 2011/2012….
GAG started around 2005 or 2009…I forget.

I am only here for two weeks but it feels like yesterday. Very fun website!
No. Time is always the same, it's only perception that changes.
Sure does. I'm already 29, 30 soon. you think I've hardly aged, in all my time here throughout GAG over time. 👍
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day... fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way...
Some days just seem to end almost before they begin. Then again, some days seem to go on and on and on.
Einstein did theorize that time is relative, and that's been proven several times.
Yeah I think time does fly when you're having fun not occupied with the what time you got to go home and cook dinner especially if the person that's her way that you're enjoying their company
Yes, It flies when we have fun because of dopamine, and it flies when we grow up because our perception of the image is faster
