Define the word Happy. Is it something long term, forever, or a fleeting feeling that goes away?

happiness unlike content is a state that can only be achieved by achieving a goal you set yourself. it's the reward you get for achievement. your brains drug that's meant to condition you to do the right things for yourself. it is not, can not and should not be a permanent state of being.

It’s definitely something on and off because anything can change happiness but we just hope to be happy most of the time
