Teens! Have you ever been disregarded because of your age?

Hey! I'd like to know your stories... I want teens to feel safe with other teens, so I'd like to know, what's your story?

I have had two moments that were the worst. The first one ended when a guy said I wasn't worth dog feces in a parking lot, and the second ended with one lady disagreeing with me saying that I shouldn't have had an abortion. She implied that I should've put the child in a box anonymously to be raised by other people. And the other lady wasn't getting the bigger picture on what I was saying about how I wouldn't want to keep the child as a constant reminder of my rapist. But enough about me!

I'd like to know your stories, I won't shame anybody for anything! I have a lot of dark secrets of my own. So please tell me your story.

When I was 13 I wanted to quit going to Sunday school and my parents said I was too young and I had to keep going (they finally let me quit when I was 16)

i was noticed and hit on by old guys all through my teenage years

I can relate to that. I remember waiting to be picked up from school one day. I was standing in a gate like thing for the children to be safer from predators, but I left the door open, and I was halfway hanging out of it. This one decrepit guy, who seemed like a pervert walked up to me asking for a phone. I didn't know what to do and I smashed his wrist in the door. The assistant principal seen this and brought me inside, I was still shaken though.
But I have no idea what you went through, I just want people to feel safe enough to open up.
