Do you think it’s wrong for adults to be attracted to teenagers?

When I was a teen I thought grown men were way hotter than boys my age and I met a 26 year old man and when I turned 18 he took my virginity.

Now that I’m 26 I’m pretty bothered by it. Someone my age getting with a teen is gross. I didn’t know how naive and vulnerable I was at 18 but he sure did.

I mean, as long as this hypothetical teenager is 18 or older, then they are an adult. They are allowed to make their own life decisions.

We live in an era of internet porn, where plenty of 18 and 19 year old girls are having sex on camera and collecting a paycheck to arouse us. Plenty of older porn stars pretending to be 'teens' as well. We are in a way conditioned by this.

You can have the same criticisms for girls such as yourself that are attracted to older men/have daddy issues. The reality is that there has to be a legal line somewhere and we all have to respect it. You can't expect all couples to be roughly the same age. That just is never going to always be the case.

While I don’t think it’s wrong to be attracted to someone who looks like they’re 18, I think it’s disgusting when adults get with minors. I sorta knew it was wrong when I was a minor but as I get older I think it’s repulsive. I’m only 20 and I wouldn’t touch an 18 year old. I have gained so much life experience and grown up a lot in the two years I’ve been out of high school. The power dynamic that would arise from such a difference in experience is worrisome. I would feel like a predator.

I think it is understandable for older people to be attracted to teens who are post-pubescent and sexually mature (physically.) That does not mean that it is okay to ACT upon that attraction. Look, but don't touch!

Yeah it's really gross. And that's why it's the responsibility of the adult to turn down any advances from teenagers, because teens don't get it yet. They think they are practically adults and are mature enough for an adult relationship. I remember being 17 and thinking 25 year old were hot. I'm only 22 now and I already see how gross that situation is from an adult point of view.

Being attracted to them is ok/normal if they have gone through puberty.

And as far as a 26 year old having sex with an 18 year old I don't see that as wrong either. 18 year olds are considered competent enough to take out a loan, buy a house, own a business, sign a contract, and enlist in the military but are too incompetent to decide to have sex with someone 8 years older. Just seems silly to me.

Grown men ARE more attractive than teen boys. They’re more mature, stable, more likely to want commitment, etc... It’s understandable on your end. But for that grown man to be sexually interested in a teen girl... not the same thing.

I think honestly that it's probably the "wrongness" and forbiddenss of the dynamic of an underage 14-15 year old blossoming girl and the object of her affection being a much older grown man.. is what makes it so hot and exciting and unforgettable for them both! When you were a teen, what kind of older men did you fantasize about and flirt with beyond the one guy? How would you even initially meet them

Uhh, I don't want to choose either of those options ^^ There's a difference between attraction and actually dating or having sex with minors. I think attraction is fine. It's not something you can help.

Its because you're a girl. You like mature older men. So you look at an 18 year old and *dont get it*. Men are usually attracted to sweet innocence. So a sweet innocent 18 year old no duh most men are going to find that attractive.
