Have you ever been rejected because of your age?

In the mid-1990s, I believe that I was rejected partly because of my age. About 25 years ago, I met and became very interested in a woman who was 15.5 years older than me. When we met, I was 33 and she was about to turn 49 but I didn't know it at the time. She was very good looking but she friendzoned me. Really, no man could have her - she loved her freedom too much.
no but I've had loud mouth women talk about me like i wanted to date them and they blurr out that im too young for them, i wouldn't say its rejection cause i never asked them out but you know what i mean
No never, guys actually tend to like that i am older. Not one guy was mean about it. I wanted also to date a 48 guys when i was in my early 20s. He was so kind and gentle. But he rejected me saying that it’s inappropriate for him to do that. Because i am the same age as his son.
Yeah, that relationship would’ve been 100% inappropriate, and weird.
I’ve been rejected by a guy 6 years older, yeah

Not yet. I don't like large age gaps anyways, but if she feels I'm too old for her then I respect that and move on.
What is a large age gap to you? I’ve seen people say 5 years is too much.
Pushing over 10 is too much in my opinion at least when both are still young. Now a 50 year old being with a 40 year old is fine.
I have this girl I like but I found out she's 21 and I'm 34. I don't like that at all. I know she likes me too, but I think the age difference bothers her too at least for now and I can understand that from her perspective because she's hasn't even enter her prime years yet while mines have past.
For me, since I'm in my mid 20's I don't really date anyone younger than 21 cause they really don't know what they want and I have wasted my time in the past
You dating anyone under 21 would be very, very weird.
Doesn't stop most people, but I've had this mindset since I was 23
Most people don’t have age gaps like that, most people date near same age, I don't know what planet you are on.
I don't understand why people are getting rejected bc of this? It doesn't make any sense. I have a girlfriend 8 years older then me and we have the perfect match.
It makes perfect sense. It’s the same way people get rejected because of their height or weight.
yes I totally agree
I was almost getting engaged to a guy i like but, he instanly refuse when his mom told him about it.
Stuck at little sis zone lmao :')
No guys really don’t care for my age. I get young really young kids and old people.
Yeah, hard to believe he didn't want to "mess with" ghetto trash like you who posts private texts on a public website.
I’ve been rejected because of my age but is older guys can
Have you seen my profile. Take a look at my age.
? Yes or no
At 43 I get turned down because of my age.
By younger men or older men?
It comes from both sides.
I don't have a problem but I have been turned down because of my age.
No doubt I have numerous times, but not explicitly
I've stopped asking, haven't been rejected once
.. that makes no sense.
Divorce and rejection are very similar. So yes.
