Curvy vs chubby. What is the borderline?

Okay so I've been thinking, most guys have been saying lately that they prefer a girl with curves and not very thin girls. My question is when a guy says curvy do they mean they don't mind a girl that might have a few more pounds to herself and has not the perfect body shape or do they mean big butt. small waist, big boobs. In my experience when most guys refer to curvy they mean big boobs, big butt and tiny rest and not a few extra pounds distributed in the belly or arms. Guys, what do you mean when you say curvy? Girls can input too.

Within the percentage of guys that like "curvy" girls there is a pretty big gray area on what guys consider to be sexy and what they consider overweight. There are the guys that like girls that have an hourglass figure but are also very toned, and there are the guys that like the curvy shape with a few extra pounds, as long as she still has a nice shape; boobs, butt, etc. There are even guys out there, although fairly rare I think, that are into women who are like 300 lbs or more. So...when a guy says he likes curvy girls there is no way of finding out exactly what his perception is just based on that statement alone unless you ask him to go into detail, or just pay attention to the girls he dates, checks out, etc. I think that no matter who you are, guy or girl, everyone has at least a slightly different perception of what "curvy" is...I personally love curvy girls with a few extra pounds, more than what I think the average guy would, or at least admit to. The girls who are "plus size models" are absolutely perfect in my eyes.

There are many things to consider and thus it is difficult to answer with just a simple explanation.

Body Mass Index measures the percentage of fat makeup of a human. This is a slightly better indicator than the old height and weight numbers. The shape of the woman plays a factor as well. Most guys go for the hourglass figure though. Some women hold extra weight in other areas making them more desirable to others.

More junk in the trunk, or top heavy, more in the thighs, etc.

Curvy means small waist bigger hips and butt, and big boobs. Not chubby. Curvy is often used as a politically polite term for heavy people but this isn't what guys mean.

Yeah that's the way I see it as well, girls usually refer to themselves as curvy if they are heavier whilst guys mean something different! lol

It is true. I refer to myself as curvy but I am actually curvy and not heavy or overweight, but when other people call me curvy I always hope they don't mean "chubby" but I'm not so I guess they don't

Curvy defines an "hourglass" shape, so you have large breasts, a small waist, and large hips. Personally, I love curvy girls but only ones that have a small waist and large, toned thighs.

When I say curvy, I mean round, peachy ass, wider hips and smaller middle, and larger breasts.

When I hear the word "curvy," I think of an hourglass body shape with ample breasts, butt, and thighs. Chubby and curvy aren't inherently the same thing, but I do believe a woman can be both.

A big muffin top is the borderline for me
