When preparing to shower, do you turn the water on before you get undressed?

In what order do you do things when you're about to take a shower?

I turn on the water before I get undressed.

I turn on the water after I get undressed but before I step in the shower.

I turn on the water after I have already stepped into the shower.

I turn on the water before I get undressed.

This is how I do it. I put my clean clothes on the toilet lid and my towel on the lid of the toilet tank. I step into the shower (still fully dressed with my shoes on) and put my shampoo and body wash in there, turning the shower on as I step back out. I take off my glasses and place them on the vanity. I take off my clothing. I step into the shower.

The shower I use is constructed in such a manner that the knob to turn on the shower cannot be reached until one actually steps into the shower. I turn the water on early so that it has a few seconds to get the cold water through the pipes so that the water will be warm enough when I get under the stream.

Maybe it's the former math major in me talking, but the distribution of the votes in that poll is pretty interesting to me for some reason: 43% / 34% / 23% / 0% / 0%. People seem to have a tendency toward the earlier options and then back off gradually, causing the bars to look a bit like a staircase, using an inverse image.

I turn on the water before getting undressed most of the time.

I like to get in when it's nice and steamy, so I'll go to the bathroom and turn it on, then head back to my room to undress l, put my hair up of I'm not washing it, then walk back in. I'm one of those that loves boiling water showers 😆

@Jennifer604, I may have just turned that into a four-way tie for the lead. But I find sometimes the number of likes an opinion gets is influenced more by the popularity of the opinion author than how helpful the opinion is. But I confess that I seem to like the opinions of pink accounts more often than those of blue accounts, though I do quite a bit on each.

My home has an 'on demand' hot water heater. It takes about 2-3 minutes for water to come up to preferred temperature. <3 ;)
