A lot of people think it's a bad idea. I tend to agree. I think the army would be a better choice. I know a girl who worked on fish processing ships. They were out to sea for about 6 weeks at a time. I'm not dissing on the guys, (they were complete gentlemen) I'm dissing on her. lol

Nothing really happened (that I know of) but her stories were funny.

She said she was the one howling at the moon at night. She said it was like temptation on steroids. lol

Being on land, going "without" for six weeks is no big deal. There's plenty of things to see and do on dry land. But this was hardly dry land. :)

Friends... Remember Mr. Burns? He was Homer's boss. I stole the title of this question from Mr. Burns. I was trying to help a guy who was wondering how to approach girls. You have to get your ducks in a row, but in my humble opinion, you can't beat the double entendre.

I don’t know but there’s no law against it and if there are women who want that career you can’t discriminate against them. What happens at sea is another matter. It’s more of a problem for their spouses/partners at home. If they’re insecure that is. If my wife wanted a career at sea I’d support her. What she does out there wouldn’t bother me as long as she’s happy

Being a naval aviator - no. They really don't. The vast majority of women should stayy on shore in a navy setting. Only those, who can match the male physical requirements should work there. For their own sake and their colleagues' sake.
