At what age did you start driving?

When I was 5 I sat in the passenger seat. My Dad (He was then a driving instructor) operated the clutch, and he taught me how to change the gears up and down. Then when I was 13, I worked at weekends (It was a hobby of mine) with a Rally Car Driver who taught me how to do donuts etc.

I got my licence within a couple of weeks of my being able to drive legally. I was 17. but I could drive properly when I was about 9 or 10.

I got my learners permit at 15 but to be honest i was still too unmature and childish and i actually ended up failing the driving test twice and finally passed on my third try when i was 17 and my permit was just a few days away from expiring.

I got a learner’s permit at 17 and then my full license 6 months later. I didn’t really want to drive all that much, despite my dad trying to encourage me and even buying me a car of my own that he ended up driving for most of my 16th year lol

I was 18, but I didn’t get my actual drivers license until 22. I have various learning disabilities that made the process a bit more challenging for me, compared to a normal person.

The School I went to you had to be eighteen years old. To even sign up for drivers ed and it was 1983 I was eighteen going nineteen when I first started driving. But I didn't own my own my own car in' till the 90's.

I think I was 13 or something :D My cousin just turned 20 and got his driving license, and he took me to the empty parking lot and let me drive :D

In Australia , drivers license is 18 .. I dont count learners permits , in some states its lower SA for example.

Started and stopped at 17. Failed the test twice.  I'd note that it wasn't my fault, but that would just sound like excuses to anyone who never met that arsehole examiner...
