Do you find that how nice you are on the phone taking care of your business that the person who's helping you is so rude and must hate their job?

Almost everyone I have business dealings with over the phone act like they don't want to help me. They have a bad attitude and act uptight because they have to do some work.
I am so nice when I call these people and it doesn't seem to matter. They act all put out.

Just changing my address with my attorney's office, the staff person was giving me a bad time. Finally I asked her why she was giving me a bad time - it's only an address change. Jeeeez!

I just start calling these people out now and ask them what their problem is. I'm almost to the point of asking them if they hate their job because they act like it.
