I briefly answered a call about a service. I was interested in the offer but told the lady I'll call back because I was at work, to just give me the number.
She did but wouldn't listen to my ''I'm at work, I can't go on, me let call back''. She kept being so persistent with the offer that I wasn't longer interested. What part of I'm at work and will call you back don't you understand? I ended up hanging up.
I find that very rude. What about you?

it's important for customer service representatives to respect a customer's time and boundaries. If a customer says they are busy and cannot continue the conversation, the representative should listen and acknowledge their request. If the customer expresses interest in the offer but cannot continue the conversation at the moment, the representative should offer to schedule a callback at a more convenient time. Being overly pushy or insistent can come across as rude and may even discourage the customer from considering the offer altogether.
Indeed. This is the time where rebuttals shouldn't happen. I was interested in the offer but couldn't continue at that moment. The lady being too pushy, insisting on it ruined it. I found that disrespectful and rude, as if she didn't care about my request for a call back later.
People are really rude. Sometimes it breaks my heart so much that people even think about settling in the countryside. Few people, so much peace.
It's very rude but she wanted to make the sale instead of someone else getting it. I believe their salary goes by how much they sign up.
I hate it when they're so focus on the rebuttals and getting the sale, as if not even caring about the customer's boundary at all. I was interested and would've gone with the offer if she had just saved the call for a call back. I had the intention of calling back later on in the afternoon but because of her being too pushy, I lost interest.
If you did call back she wouldn't have gotten the sale. Your call would go to whoever was available. Most solicitors are trained to be pushy to make the sale. They try to keep you on the line until you get the offer.
This is why I never accept solicitors calls
If they are required to keep insisting till the end, without a care for the customer's time (only focus on their own sales commission) then it's a horrible job. Yeah that's the last time I would ever answer a call like that, esp if I'm at work. I'll just kept my phone on silence if I'm busy.
