Unisex communal showers?

I'm working on a site at the moment that only has one shower facility and it's unisex-communal would that bother you. It doesn't bother me at all I think it's great as a nudist I believe more facilities like this should exist to help break the stigma of nudity

Of course, this way of thinking has to come from a guy. Obviously that you would like it to be a voyeur and to pry on children taking a shower. Perhaps you would even try to smuggle a camera to make sure that you can show your buddies what kind of children you saw naked taking a shower.

Because you seem to forget one thing. Communal showers would not just be for adults but equally used by children and minors. How will you make a difference between a child of 17 years and 364 day from an adult of 18 years and 1 day?

I am also pretty sure that you would make sure only to take your shower in those communal showers when there are a majority of women.

I don't think you will find many women that will agreed to be perved on and to be victims of a bunch of voyeurs.

This is a work site shower there are no children here and I would never take a camera in unless I knew it was completely empty like it was when I took the picture

From the number of negative comments received on the proposal, my best guess is that it is not a welcome idea by most women because we are all aware of the potential risks for our security.

That's completely understandable I wish the world was a better place where women didn't have to feel that way and give stigma around nudity/nudism could be lessened

As long as a number of men are seen and perceived as sexual predators, there will be no such thing as a lesser stigma.

It is already something harrowing to know that the age of consent is permanently being reduced. At this rate, soon there will be no more age of consent and then, God only knows what will happen.

I’m not surprised you’re only concerned with the stigmas of nudity, not how predatory it is for a woman to be naked in a room with naked men alone by herself.

As a Nudist myself, It wouldn't bother me to use it, but I would try be discrete for the benefit of others who are not as comfortable with nudity, either seeing it or being seen.

I think the proper etiquette here would be to face the wall unless rinsing your back or hair, get in-and-out quickly, and keep your eyes from wondering and avoid staring.

But at the same time, don't make a big deal out of it. Going out of your way to hide yourself or acting nervous can make others uncomfortable as well.

Be efficient, don't flaunt your body, but don't rush and don't take extraordinary measures to cover yourself like walking in with your hand over your genitals. Be casual.

They need to change the signage then. "Uni" means "one". If there is a men's shower, that is a uni-shower. Then there would be a woman's shower, another uni-shower. The correct term would be "omni" shower, since omni means "all".

Yes as a nudist myself I can concur. I don think they should become more common, but not overnight. We need to slowly push societal expectations.

If I could generally trust the other people there then I would not mind it at all. Unfortunately that would not be the case in certain places, such as the military or colleges.
