What are you saving for?

I have one for the mall and then another for pride fest next month (yes, we do ours in July, not June).
Just like a shopping spree at the mall or something in particular? Why would you save for Pridefest? Do you have to travel to it?
I can use my mall money for anything, but I choose to save it for adult stuff (aka toys). Save money for Pride Fest since I've never been to one so merchandise. It's downtown over here so we just have to drive. All my other money no clue, as it's not much (I had to give some of my money away to help my friend with gas). I don't work so I can't really save up money unless I'm gifted it. But things are going a different path for me so hopefully I'll get to work a job.
I am saving for my next pickup truck. My new truck will be 5years old this fall and I will need a new one in ten years or before they prohibit gasoline powered vehicles whatever comes first.
Yeah, the electric trucks are flopping. I’m going to be looking at alternatively fueled trucks myself.
I got an Uber from a guy driving a full size pickup truck. When i asked if he makes enough with Uber to cover his fuel, he explained that his 8-cylinder engine can be switched to run on 6 cylinders for fuel economy. I think that’s ingenious! It’s still pretty thirsty compared to my economy SUV though. I was kinda hoping some manufacturer would do something similar with 6-cylinders running on 4 for economy.
Whaddya drive now, and what kinda mileage are you getting?
Yuck!
I average 30 mpg. Gas isn’t going to get cheaper either.
If you haven’t already owned and driven an SUV, i recommend you don’t. However rarely you utilize the bed of a pickup truck, an SUV can’t match that utility. That’s why i’m switching and disappointed at the fuel economy of even midsize pickups.
I have a vacation house on an island and I am alway bringing loads of stuff over on the ferry. My town has no trash pickup so I have to bring evertmything to the dump. A big SUV was big enough but my kids are all grown and gone so I do not need that back seat anymore. My new truck was about 20k less than a new Tahoe.
Right now, we're looking to get a new stove. After that, rewiring our house, redoing the bathroom, and finishing the basement.
