+1 yIt depends on the context:
Biologically? When she is done growing. This can be at 12 or at 30, or anywhere in between, it depends on your racial makeup as to how fast you grow and how much you change. Same goes for males, for me it was 14 and I didn't change much. There is such wide variation in development types and rates that its like comparing very contrasting dog breeds.
Reproductively? Whenever puberty finishes, this varies as well, independantly of growth rates, ranging from 8 to 22. Alternatively, you could clock it by when women can no longer produce eggs or healthy babies, but that loss is caused by damage over time (or abruptly) in most cases, not genetics, so it could be at any age.
Legally? 13, 16, 17, 18, or 21, it depends on your local state/country's laws, which vary.
In terms of mental maturity? 5 to never (for me it was 5, for others its often late teens, 20s, or 30s, if not intellectual and practical by mid 30s, they most likely never will be.
In terms of youth referring to not aging or lifespan? You can stay youthful looking as long as you want, the current record for keeping the "teen/young adult" look is late 60s, but thats rarely acomplished and all known examples are southeast Asian so we don't have data on everyone else. The average person loses it in their 20s to 40s because most people don't know how to take care of themselves. Humans actually have no cap on how long they can live/keep youth, and yes, to live longer you need to keep youth longer, as youth = health in this context, so there is no specific age for this.
I learned all of this from looking at others and comparing them to myself and eachother, and cared enough to remember it all in my effort to figure out how to literally live forever/never age (this knowledge acts as a baseline, ie if you know all of this, you know that aging is actually just disease, and certain developmental changes or rates or sensations are also just disease, and it lets you determine which habits/diets/lifestyles are actually healthy, and which are not).02 Reply- +1 y
Even something like menopause, a condition that most people (including most doctors) will tell you is normal, is actually just disease. Meanwhile some elderly women are having children, while most other women in their 30s to 40s don't make eggs anymore because they suffered from ovarian failure from as of yet unknown causes. We only know its a disease because the age it happens varies, and for some women, it never happens at all.

There are also fertile women who do not get period symptoms ever (bleeding, pain, cramping, moodiness), and ones who hemmorage a lot and have drastic hormone fluctuations, so thats also disease.

+1 yThis is a very vague question and definitely subjective. I think girls around the ages of 18 to around 24 usually look their best physically. After that they tend to start letting it go. And I'm not saying that girls can't look good past that age. It's just that the girls that do tend to look more physically attractive after that age like to take care of themselves in terms of fitness and health, which is increasingly rare in society.
Then there's mental attraction. I think girls that are not married or in relationships with decent guys after a certain age tend to be extremely jaded about men and they fuel this era of "independence and women empowerment" which just makes more women unhappy and depressed in the long term. I think mentally, girls tend to get "old" around age 30ish? I'm just ballparking honestly.02 Reply- +1 y

@ClaircognizantEmpath I have no idea who you are or what you're talking about
+1 y30 is “young” in the sense that you haven’t done a lot. But 30 is “old” in the sense that you are so much more experienced than you were as a teenager. Your brain is fully formed and has been for a good minute, from this point on your body no longer grows taller, you have no other genetic changes to make that’s pre-determined by DNA. You’re getting older and not younger, you’re producing less of the things in your body that allow you to stay youthful. And honestly? The obsession society has with youth anyway is unhealthy, always negative in some way. You know there are some teenagers so afraid of getting old and getting wrinkles and becoming “ugly” that they do these insane beauty routines in the hope of stopping the aging process? And there are some 20-somethings so desperate to look like a teen again they’d happily pay for plastic surgery to do so. I’m happy to be “old” now, it means I’ve lived well enough to keep on going as I am.

+1 yHard to say. I mean, my parents are in their 60s so I pretty much say "You're young until you're 60." Which implies that I've realized we stay young for a very long-time way before we actually become old. Watching my parents get old and complain about everything hurting makes me realize it. But there are habits that can make your body age faster, such as smoking, too much alcohol, etc. Keeping your body age young is key and that means to eat healthy, stay in shape, taking care of your skin, etc.

If you are 20, then 35ish?
If you are 40 then 65ish, at 70 90ish?
It can really matter on your age, your perception of age, and really how the person has aged.
I have seen, and delt with patients that are 50 and you would guess them at 75, and I have seen women that are in their 80s that could out work someone way younger than them.
So, it is really just a number, a lot depends on which side of the number you are on, and the person themselves have a lot to do if they seem young, in good health and physical condition, or old, in bad health, chair bound and can't do anything, but they are both the same age.00 Reply905 opinions shared on Other topic. Depends on what you mean by young. Since you put in quotes it implies it is not definite in your mind.
I'd pick 24. Why?
Certainly sub 24s look young physically but mileage varies and older girls can look just as good. In general I think there is a threshold around that point.
More importantly I think there is a threshold in attitude around that point. Having fun is important under that age. You can expect a more mature attitude above that age.

+1 y18 aka legal age for most consents aka driving, voting, sex. However keep in mind USA and example age 21 is for gambling, drinking, etc supposedly. In my country, 18 and 18 is the age for practically everything, not 21 😅😋😅😋

m +1 yI would say 25, that is mainly based on how support services etc base things. Under 25 to 18 is young adult, after that young is not used.

+1 yI'd say women stop being young after 35. By that point, you're comfortably an adult. You really ought to have your shit together by 35.

00 Reply Well considering that the average life expectancy is 78 that means humans hit our mid lives at 38. So I’d say 25-30 we humans are no longer considered “young”
