I think someone may be taking it a little bit too far, but I could see some people needing them.
Not sure why the person did not just post a sign on the door they want to be used stating: "Please Use this Door"
Does that not make more sense and get rid of any confusion? If they try the other door then they aren't reading the sign anyway.

That is actually a good idea. Some people might think that "the other door" is on another side of the building. Funny I was just thinking of that this evening when I went to a new restaurant and they had the "Please Use Other Door" sign.

Lol Tom! I think it adds humor to the store! Obviously, you tug on the one door that doesn't open means the other one will work, what with the open sign too. And I'm sure people have done it! I'll bet the same sign is on the opposite side. I imagine the people inside who work there are humorous/friendly.

So they put the "Come In We're Open" sign on the door you aren't supposed to use. Just to make sure you don't use the door that says "Come In" they lock it.
Seriously. People are looking at the big orange "Come In" sign. It's not like people stand at the door reading all the fine print. Half a second max, and it's in the door.

As someone who has spent a few years working in retail, I can tell you first hand Tom. No matter WHAT signs you put up for the public, they still walk right past them oblivious, as if to say they must be there for OTHER people, not me!
