After a #2 do you wipe standing or sitting?

I have been standing to do this my entire life and just recently was told most people don't... I'm kind blown tbh

I avoid wiping now. I poop in the morning then take a shower. In the shower, I give myself a high-power bidet experience with the shower head. When I am done, my asshole is CLEAN... No worries about doing a less than perfect job. AND I save a shitload (pardon the pun) on toilet paper. AND, my recently purchased $21,000 septic system is happier now that the poop is already blasted into tiny particles as it goes down the drain and not having to deal with toilet paper.

If you’re standing how can you clean yourself properly there if it’s all squished there between your butt cheeks? that’s really odd it sounds unsanitary. Ideally you should squat down and even wipe with water
