A lot of things smell good because of memories associated with them, but they wouldn't smell good if recontextualised.
Just as an aside, campfires smell different depending on the wood you're burning, so it isn't just one smell...
In any case though, burning wood is one of these smells. Cut grass is another. Different kinds of petrol (I love the smell of red diesel, which is basically tractor fuel). But would I want to smell any of these scents ON someone? To associate it with someone? Hell no.

I think that mostly be of use in attracting other men, but if that's the goal, go for it. A guy I know is on a long-term search for a scented candle that smells like a campfire, which you'd THINK would be easy, but apparently isn't. I found him one brand, but he said it wasn't very good.

They sort of do. I forget the brand but it smells "smokey" like a cross between whiskey and a campfire. I can ask the old man who wears it to church if you want.

Campfires just smell like smoke. I could just as easily get that smell by burning something in the oven. I’m good not smelling that on a man

You can find colognes with notes of incense, smokiness, woodiness, and other masculine natural scents, but I dunno if I agree with a campfire cologne lol😂 It'd just smell like you didn't wash your clothes or shower since the last time you stood around a smoky fire.

I do love the smell of campfires but the smell of smoke in your clothes isn't the same and doesn't smell very pleasant.

Love the smell of campfires. I love the smell of pine as well. And cedar. If they made a collection of woody scents, I'd be wearing those 24/7. Only thing I'd be worried about is if they attract mosquitoes or other bugs. Because if not, I'll just put on some shit like eucalyptus or lavender oil

Yes, I like the smell of open fires in general.  It would be an interesting cologne. I may or may not like it depending on how it is made. 🧚🏾‍♀️

It'd smell like burning wood, it'd get tiring after a while of smelling it. Just like fresh cut grass, smells good for a little bit but then gets annoying.

I enjoy camping with friends in the fall and it's one if those things that while I'm around a campfire I love the smell. Afterwards I hate the smell on clothes.
