Try to get a job that offers lots of free time so you can still enjoy yourself as you get older. Also, get a low cost economy car instead of something expensive and a lower cost place to live when possible so you will have more discretionary spending money. Try to avoid taking out student loans too if you can.

I work in schools so I can have more vacation time each year and have a Nissan Versa for my car. I just got myself an extremehomearcades game box with tons of good games and arcade light guns to have fun with.

I would suggest start investing a little bit every month it would help you in the next 5 years of your journey if you start now the better I wish someone told me that when I was your age it would have made lot of difference.

Word of caution make investments don't gamble.

Yes. I miss being younger like 20 years old but not the extremely shitty life imposed upon me by my parents.

I want to be 20 years old again and actually do something fun with similarly aged girls. No, I don't mean *just* sex.

You know? I'm "just" 29 years old (why do others say that?) but I feel like my life is already over and set in stone like that. Getting older sucks and its depressing.

but that's when I actually started to get serious... about my work/career, future plans and all that

so serious, that I quit college half-way, and I also decided to move to my own place and to start a business, or two

and then it got really serious, lots of paperwork and appointments too... lmao

It's just a passing phase. Young adults are as much disoriented as teenagers are. Just about different topics.

Later on there will be a junction;

one direction leads into uncritical obedience and ''normality'', and the other makes you not giving a shit any longer.

Choose wisely, and according to your qualification.

... Or so I'd like to say. I spent most of my 20s drunk and bruised from mosh pits and count myself lucky I didn't lose my job. By the time I hit 30 I was getting health issues and realised my debauchery couldn't just go on forever...

I'm already past that stage XD I feel fine now. Atm I have stress but soon I'll move to a new place and reduce my work hours for a bit and then I'll relax a bit more and try and live more healthy than I do now :) That's my plan anyway :)

Nah, I still feel and look young and I'm on track with what I want in life. If on a tight budget, don't eat out, and don't get a car. You save so much money just cutting those 2 things out.
