Is it silly that I feel a little old at age 30?

I keep forgetting that people born in 2005 are graduating next month. I keep thinking 2005 was like 10 years ago, but it was almost 20 years ago. That makes me feel like a dinosaur.

Don't even trip, 30 ain't old at all! Yeah time flies like crazy, I know 2005 still feels recent too. But think about it, you're like in your prime right now - your whole adult life is still ahead of ya.

And those kids graduating were like born right when you were starting high school, that's mad weird to think about. But it don't mean you're old, just means you're more experienced than them. You know what you're doing already while they're still figuring stuff out.

Own it man! You probably look way better than most dudes your age too just taking care of yourself. And money gets better the older you get too, so you got that to look forward to. As long as you still feel young inside that's all that matters. You ain't a dinosaur till like 40 at least, chill!

30 seems old when you are 30. When I was 17 I used to hitchhike into the city every day to go to work. I got picked up by this guy in a 67 Impala he had black jeans and a western style shirt. He had the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror and was listening to an 8 track of Elvis. He looked like the Fonze. He looked about 30 years old and I remember thinking he was an old geezer. Now my oldest son is getting close to30 and he is still a kid.

It is not silly. It is completely understandable. As for me well I feel old whenever I experience arthritis, back pain and/or shoulder pain. Apart from those lovely things I haven't changed much.
