How come some bank tellers take forever?

Some will do your deposit in like 2 minutes, while others it takes them like 10 minutes to deposit some checks. They'll be sitting there clicking a ton of stuff, while another time the teller will just count the checks give you a receipt and you'll be on your way.

One told me once "Some of us know the tricks and shortcuts." To their systems. The others are new and going off their manual training with is archaic, such as pen to paper writing down a deposit.

That girl filled out a deposit slip. 😂 I refuse to do that nonsense and haven't done it in 10 years probably. I just write down how much money I have in cash and how much in checks and they seem happy with that since their is an understanding of what the total is. That's all they care about. This girl looked at the sticky note as if it was a note to rob the bank😂
