Fifty-five years ago, Fred Rogers made headlines for a speech in Washington as he fought for funding for his network, PBS. Rogers was able to persuade a gruff politician who had never heard of him. Rogers did not convince him by raising his voice or throwing a tantrum, something we see often today, but instead --- he let his passion guide him & thanks to him PBS got the 20 million dollars to keep the network going.

Mr. Rodgers just like Finding Your Roots and all education TV on PBS are not woke. They discuss themes that certain individuals wouldn’t want children or fellow Americans to know since it is too “politicized” or “shows disrespect”, they are educational.

God forbid the host for a children’s show displays acts of kindness and love so the kids don’t grow up learning to hate specific people for no reason.
