I had to update my drivers license not too long ago & it asked if I'd like to be an organ donor or not.
I know that's a touchy subject, so it is a poll, no one has to say anything and anon option is on.
Thanks for your vote on the poll. :)

No I am not.
In California as far back as I can remember, they had a place on the back of our California driver's license asking we wanted to be an organ donor.
There were two boxes to choose from. Yes or no.
But in the past 20 years (guessing here) it only has one box to check and that's the YES box.
I thought about it because it bothered me - I knew something wasn't right about the change.
Anyone could check the YES box and if someone else checked it for instance (like if you were in an accident), instead of the people at the hospital saving your life, the box could be checked by the medical professionals and they would just let you die when you didn't have to.
Why you ask? Because they can make a bundle of money off of one deceased person harvesting all of their organs they can and doing several transplant operations. They would do it to make a lot of money!!
If they didn't let you die, then you would be a financial burden to the hospital and doctors. They wouldn't make money off you.
A lot of doctors in California and probably everywhere are from florigen countries are you can tell right away they aren't Americans 🇺🇸!
Well, some other people in those other countries don't believe in God. They have another higher power they worship to.
They don't value human life like people in America.
This is my own personal experience to prove my point.
When my son was very sick 🤢 and had to have emergency open heart surgery, just before it was time for him to go to the operating room the heart surgeon asked me "Do you want me to just let him go"?
It was hard for me to grasp, but what he was asking me, HIS MOTHER was do you want me to let him die! Who asks that to someone's MOTHER? And he sounded very casual about it.
I said "No, I don't want you to just let him go"!! He asked "Then what do you want me to tell him"?
I answered "I want you to go in there and tell him that you are going to operate on his heart and make him all better"!!
As it turns out, my son was 18 then and he is 46 now! A child's first doctor is their MOTHER!
You're welcome!
No, I don't want to be sold in pieces after death. Of course the older you're the less value have your organs. I become donor after I turn 50. lol
When I first got my driver's license I put down yes I wanted to be an organ donor
Years and years go by. And I start watching 60 minutes.
And it is about the parents of their child who was an. Organ donor. the kid dies. In the same time something else is happening where somebody needs one of his organs they prep this other person they give that person this kid's organs and it saves the life of the person that got the organs.
But the parents of the kids get some deal for the surgery done to the person that got the organs they were having to pay for the guys surgery that got the organs and once I found out that my family would be responsible for me giving up my organs and they would have to pay the bill I said no I took it off my driver's license because that's thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars that these people were responsible for
. Now if this didn't happen and my family wasn't going to have anything to do with any sort of payment when somebody got my organs sure I would give them up
Because I would be getting cremated anyway.
And when God wants me he already made me from dust and dirt one time I'm sure he has the recipe to do it again all he has to do is look at my spirit
I don't know how touchy this subject is but I am not a pussy. I voted no and I will explain why.
Organs are worth money. They will kill you just to take them. If I'm in a situation I'd rather they try to save my life than kill me to sell my organs. You give them the rights to your organs and then they find you in a fucked up situation... if you're not famous or something... your fucking organs are worth more than you.
Do I want a hand slipped over my mouth so that I can't breath or do I want them to just fucking do ambulance shit. Saying no to organ donation increases your survival rate by 85%... I'll take that choice.
Last words: Maybe it's not that way in your country... but I've been to a lot of places, and you better believe it's that way in some places. You might be in one and not even know it... like in the states. I know a paramedic dude and he's told me... killed them himself and they cut out their organs to sell. It's a money racket. We all can't be China where they just take new livers from Uyghur Muslims.
I remember getting beat up pretty bad and put in a ambulance... I remember them checking my driver's ID to see if I was an organ donor. I shit you not, they didn't help me at all until they found out I wasn't a organ donor. After they found that shit out (I'm not a donor) on their computer thing... they went straight to work helping me. San Diego California... think I'm bullshitting then you better dig a little deeper. They thought I was still out... I was paying attention though. Fantastic that they charged me $600 for a 5 minute ride and some injections of bullshit.

Yes. I don’t get why people wouldn’t want to be tbh. Like you’re gonna be dead , why do you care if they use your organs to literally save someone else’s life? lol
Ill go further. Its selfish to let them go to waste.
@DrPepper12 I agree
Jesus christ... I did not expect to see that many organ donors in the polls. I wasn't expecting even one. I didn't realize how common it was. I have definitely not donated an organ as of yet. I think the only people I'd do it for are family and loved ones.
Im surprised too in a very good way
Nope.
Doctors still charge the recipient for the organs often, so they're making money (and stats) on organ transplants. Additionally, under 80% of doctors take the hippocratic oath as it is no longer required. So doctors have a huge conflict of interest there to let an organ donor die.
Doctors are the new chain-mechanics in my opinion. It's all about stats and money for them now, not about what's good for the client.
By law everyone here automatically is so yes.
You have to Opt out to not be so which most people don't bother, because most people are sane.
You brits have the right idea... About a lot of things... Like voting tories out... But brexit was a clusterfuck and Tony was a egotistical fool
Yeah, I am. But I also respect the decision of people who choose not to, that's a very personal decision after all.
Nope. Not anymore. I use to be, but Democrats convinced me that at least half of people aren't worth saving.
In the UK every adult is a donor unless they opt out.
All Belgians and all residents that live more than 6 months in Belgium are organ donor, by law, unless they opt out.
Brilliant, generous and progressive!
Yep, I am. I understand that the idea of it probably feels a little "creepy" to some people, but people need organs. 🤷♀️
@bannacookies no I am not organ donor , because I have multiple health issue and take few meds, which makes my organ unqualified for this.
ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY!!! I give blood regularly too. I wish someone would donate some hair back to me in trade tho...
I realized I had a regenerative penis, like a lizard. i've donated 3 penises at once to a hospital, and the police didn't believe me that they were all mine :(
Mr. Hand? Is that you? From South Park?
I'm not going to need my organs after I'm dead, so I figure that if thry can help someone else, then thry can use them.
Yes. I do not care what is done with this shell once I vacate.
No, I'm opted out because mine are too far gone to be worth anything
At your age?
A heart condition, drinking/smoking and a stomach hernia saw to that
Yikes! Sorry!
Thanks and you just get on with it
absolutely. no reason to not be frankly.
Yes one part will live longer
Yes, some rich guy might end up with my liver.
Medically I'm not eligible
yep...
I am.
No, I’m not.
Any reason?
@DrPepper12 I don’t want my organs harvested after I’m dead, I also don’t want my family to pay the bills for it afterwards.
Only living donors (like a kidney) incur costs (that are often reimbursed by recipient insurance. If deceased, no costs at all.
My organs need replacing so you don't want them.
nope
